Student of the Year 2022

Mehdi Shirmohamadi, Ph.D., R&D manager of TERMEH Co., Istanbul, Turkey, received the Student of the Year 2022 Award at the WFI 2022 Graduation Ceremony on Dec. 6, 2022.

Mehdi has worked in nonwovens and industrial air filtration systems (baghouse and ESPs) for 20+ years. He is an expert and mentor in textile fibers, high-efficiency filter media, and antibacterial adsorbents. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Science from IAU, Iran, in 2018.

It was a joy and honor to have Mehdi in the WFI 2022 Class. He is pleasant, curious, and eager to learn, making him the year's top student.
