CODE OF ETHICS

Waterloo Filtration Institute (WFI) is dedicated to developing advanced filtration and separation solutions for a clean and sustainable world. As members of WFI or participants in WFI activities, we pledge to act with honesty, fairness, courtesy, competence, integrity and respect for others in our conduct.

In recognition of the obligation to the public and the profession, members and specialists shall comply with the following articles:

  1. Adhere to the highest professional business ethics and behavioral practices.

  2. Serve a client only under terms or conditions that will not impair our objectivity or integrity.

  3. Serve a client with integrity, competence, and objectivity.

  4. Respect confidentiality of business affairs, intellectual property, and proprietary information.

  5. Always treat others fairly and with respect .

 

Any member or specialist found to have violated this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from membership or specialist certificate. The Ethics Committee shall hear and investigate charges of unethical conduct (by email: ethics@wfinstitute.com) between concerned parties which are submitted in writing to the headquarter and will make recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning the resolution of those charges.
