In response to the growing demand for quality assurance, education, and recognition of professional skills within liquid filtration and separation, WFI developed the Certified Liquid Filtration & Separation Specialist (CLFSS) program, the filtration & separation education and certification program designed specifically for liquid filtration & separation professionals. When purchasing products or services from a Liquid Filtration & Separation Specialist, customers are to be assured that their particular requirements and needs will be addressed by the certified professionals.


The CLFSS program distinguishes those professionals who have demonstrated comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of liquid filtration & separation technologies, and high levels of professionalism. To be certified, a liquid filtration & separation professional must pass the examination on the principles, methods, general technologies and applications of liquid filtration & separation. Candidates for certification are also subject to compliance with the WFI Code of Ethics.
