Earlier today, WFI held the Air Filtration Testing and Evaluation course. Mr. Bob Burkhead of Blue Heaven Technologies presented the course, and the Q&A panel also counted with top experts in the field, including Dr. R. Vijay of AERFIL, Mr. Al Vatine of LMS, Ms. Kathleen Owen, ASHRAE 52.2 Chair.

The course was informative and very well delivered. We were pleased to see the participants making interesting questions that discussed critical points of the testing procedures and trends for air filtration.

Liquid Filtration

Liquid Filtration is another critical area within the Filtration Industry. For this reason, WFI will have a series of courses to discuss the technologies in liquid filtration and separation.

The first course is Liquid Filtration, June 22nd, 8-10 am, EDT by Dr. Wu Chen of Dow USA, a well-recognized expert in the global filtration and separation industry. Dr. Chen has over 30 years of extensive experience in all areas of liquid filtration and air/gas filtration from both technologies and business perspectives.

Participants will learn the broad spectrum of liquid filtration technology plus basic principles and available options for removing particulate from liquid fluids. The course outline will cover Introduction to Liquid Filtration, Properties, Principles and Equipment, and the applications from general process fluids to Food and Beverage to Mining and Transportation and more.
