Filtration in Transportation Continues


Waterloo Filtration Institute successfully delivered its first course of Filtration in Transportation (Engine Intake and Cabin Air Filtration) this morning by Dr. Christine Sun (President, WFI), with a very distinguished group of panel speakers: Dr. Iyad Al-Atter (Visiting Academic Fellow, Cranfield Univ.), Dr. Cedric Vallet (Ahlstrom-Munksjö, Dept. Head, Filtration Division), Mr. Mike Clark (H&V, President, Filtration Solution), and Dr. Swarna Agarwal (Parker Hannifin, Engineering Manager). It was moderated by Mr. Mitch McCreary (WFI, Director of Marketing).


It was an informative webinar with rich insights into the cabin air and engine intake filtration market and technologies. The impact of COVID-19 and electric vehicles on future trends in cabin air filtration and engine intake air filtration was intensively discussed during Q&A and panel discussions. Filtration in transportation will continue with its second course Fuel, Hydraulic, Lube & Oil Filtration, Oct. 11, 2022, Tuesday, 8:00 -10:00am, EDT. It will give the audience an overall understanding of the fuel/hydraulic/Lube/oil filtration market, products, and technologies used for different applications. We will discuss various filter designs and media technologies for fuel/hydraulic/lube/oil filtration and product evaluation methods.
