Following CFSS 2022 opening course Introduction to Global Filtration Market and Nonwovens in Filtration course last week, Waterloo Filtration Institute successfully delivered another informative and unique course Filter Media Technologies. This course is core to understanding various filter media and the competitive edge of modern filtration technologies. The course offered essential knowledge for the participants to move into the more complex air and liquid filtration topics provided throughout the continued curriculum of the Certified Filtration and Separation Specialist (CFSS) program. Dr. Christine Sun, President of Waterloo Filtration Institute, presented the course with the aid of an expert panel of experts to answer relevant questions. Dr. John Zhang, a Lead Specialist of 3M Company, and Mr. Scott Yaeger, President of Filtration and Separation Technology, led a lively response to topic-related questions.

Our next course will be Air Filtration, Tuesday, April 12, 8:00-10:00 am EDT. Ms. Kathleen Owen, ASHRAE Fellow, a leading expert in the field will instruct the course with Dr. Christine Sun. We will also have another globally recognized expert Dr. R. Vijayakumar in contamination control and filtration join us in the panel discussion.
