The course covered the fundamentals of air filtration, the latest update on ASHRAE’s guidelines for HVAC filtration associated with COVID-19 for public safety and health, various market applications of air filtration, such as transportation, industrial dust removal, gas turbines, etc., and trends for future development.

Next course: Air Filter Design Our next course Air Filter Design, Tuesday, April 20th, from 8-10 am EDT, is an advanced course in air filtration to discuss air filter design principles and processes. This course will be conducted by Dr. Christine Sun, President of WFI. We will also have a highly regarded panel of experts for questions in addition to our instructor.
The newly designed course will include key product characteristics, customer requirements, filter media and configuration selection, prototype and lab testing, field test and validation for various applications, such as HVAC, transportation, industrial dust removal, gas turbines, paint spray booths, clean rooms, hot gas filtration, air purification, personal protection, etc. The standards used for product evaluation and the trends for future development will also be discussed.
